A Home that was once lively
Is now an empty shell
Void of the joy it once held
Filled with the despair of loss
A Mother sitting anxiously waiting
For her children to return to their abandoned home
Sitting in the empty House once full of life
But now empty of the liveliness it once held
Tears cascade down a face twisted in agony
Rain falls down panes of glass on the empty House
Like the tears that fall down the agonized face, but in despair
For the children lost and not yet found.
Days turn to weeks, weeks to months and months to years
Eternity passes and slowly the first child is found
Returned to her Mothers loving arms
Weeping and begging for forgiveness
The Mother smiles and forgives her child
And asks her to come inside back in her Home
Her child enters and slowly she helps bring back
Her other lost Brothers and Sisters.
After many years of endless searching
All the Brothers and Sisters are found
And now Mother can rest peacefully without worry
Rest without agony and despair.
The once empty shell
Void of the joy it had once held
Is now once again a Home
Full of life and joy.
